On Thursday, September 12th, 2019 – Malcolm Delaney announced that the Point Guard will join the Euroleague and ACB powerhouse – FC Barcelona. Delaney comes from a season with Guangdong Southern Tigers in the Chinese CBA. During the course of 37 games played he recorded 19.4 ppg, 6.1rpg and 5.7 apg. The deal is signed as a 1+1, it can be extended by the team after June 30th, 2020 for another year. With this signing Malcolm will team up again with coach Svetislav Pesic for whom he played during the 2013-14 championship season (Bayern Munich in German Bundesliga).
